Ingredients
2 Cups Gram flour (Besan)
1 Cup Ghee
1Table Spoon Suji
1/2 Cup of Greated Dry Fruits
1 Cup Sugar
2 Table Spoon Milk
Instructions
How to make Besan ki Burfi?
- To make gram flour barfi, first roast the semolina in a pan on low heat till it turns golden brown.
- Put a little ghee in another pan and add 1 half cup of chopped dry fruits in it and roast them for 1 minute.
- Now melt 1 cup of ghee in a pan and add gram flour in two cups and fry it till it becomes golden while stirring continuously till it becomes a smooth paste (gram flour should always be roasted on low flame otherwise it gets burnt)
- Now add 2 tbsp milk in it and mix well, if the milk mixes well and the gram flour turns golden, then turn off the gas.
- Switch off the flame and take the pan down and keep stirring continuously until the pan cools down, otherwise it may burn from the bottom and spoil the taste of your barfi.
- Now add half a cup of chopped and roasted dry fruits and mix it well.
- Now add powdered sugar and mix well.
- Now take a plate or a tray grease with ghee or oil.
- Now put it in a greased utensil and keep it for 2 or 3 hours to set. When the barfi is set well, cut it into desired shape.
- Your delicious and nutritious gram flour barfi is ready to eat, serve it to guests, feed it to children and elders, eat it yourself or gift it to someone on any occasion.
Note: If Gram flour Burfi made by proper method should be at least Does not spoil for a month, I guarantee that this barfi cannot last for 1 month because its taste keeps on pulling you towards it and you can eat it anytime.
