You can prepare potato vegetable quickly. This dum potato vegetable is prepared in 30 or 40 minutes. Its taste is wonderful and spicy. This vegetable is very much liked all over India.This vegetable is very much liked in small and big functions. You can make it without garlic and onion also, it is called its satvik variant. It can be made as a dry vegetable or it can also be made with creamy gravy. The complete method of making this vegetable and the ingredients used in itI have written the list below, by reading which you can learn to make it. It can be eaten with paratha, poori and nann, you can also serve it in the children's lunch box.

Ingredients

  • 500 Gram baby potatoes 
  • 3 Cup Water for boil the Potatoes 
  • Salt 1/4 Tea spoon  
  • 1/2 Table spoon Ginger powder 
  • 3 Tea spoon Degi Mirch desolved in 2 table spoon water 
  • 1 table spoon fennl powder 1 Tea spoon Cumin seeds 
  • 1 Inch peace of Cinnamon
  • 3_4 Cloves 
  • 1 Green Cardamom (optional)
  • 1 Black Cardamom 
  • 5_6 Black Peppers 
  • 6 Table spoon Fresh whisked Curd like Yogurt 
  • 1.5 Cups Water 
  • 2 Table spoon Mustard oil for gravy 
  • 3/4 Cup Mustard oil for frying Potatoes 
  • 1/2 Tea spoon Turmeric powder 
  • Salt according to taste
  • 3 Green Chilli Roughly chopped 
  • 2 Big Onions Roughly chopped
  • 5 to 6 Kali Garlic Roughly chopped 
  • 3 Big Tomatos fine chopped 
  • 1 Table spoon Coriander leaves fine chopped      


How to make restaurant style kashmiri dum aloo at ?

Instructions



First wash and clean the baby potatoes 

Now put the cooker on the gas and boil them by adding 3 or 4 cups of water and half a teaspoon of salt. 

Now put 2 tbsp mustard oil in a pan, add one tsp cumin and fry till it becomes golden, then put chopped garlic in it and fry a little. When the garlic is fried a little, add chopped onion and fry till it becomes golden, add tomato and cook till it becomes soft.Add turmeric, kashmiri red chili,  coriander powder, garam masala, funnel powder and mix well add green chili and fry till the oil separates from the masala. 

After this add 3/4 cup curd and mix it than cook it for two to three minutes.

Now make small holes in all the potatoes with the help of a fork so that the masala gets cooked in them. 

Put all the potatoes in the spices and cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes. 

Your Kashmiri Dum Potato curry is ready, take it out strictly in another utensil and sprinkle green coriander over it.Serve with tandoori roti paratha or nann and win the hearts of your guests and your family.
