Hello friends welcome to my Healthy vegetarian recipes blog today in this article, I have brought to you a most popular everyone's choice easy to cook healthy, tasty, and mouth watering recipe. *Veg Manchurian recipe*, This recipe is a simple and super delicious mouth watering Indo Chinese recipe made with fresh vegetables, all-purpose flour, corn flour, masala fried balls with tangy sweet and spicy gravy or sauce.Its aroma and taste are so amazing. People like to eat it with Chinese Noodles, fried rice, plain rice. In Indian homes, it is included in lunch or dinner.
Although Veg Manchurian is likeed by everyone, children and old people it very much, but the youth especially like it. Me and my family also like it too much, every weekend Imust have to make this recipe any how.
Veg Manchurian was named in the 1970s after the Manchurian people who lived in Manchuriya in Northeastern China, but the dish has nothing to connect with those people. It was invented in 1975by Nelson Wang, an Indian restaurant owner in Mumbai. Since then the dish Veg Manchurian has become a favourite among Indians.
People make it in many ways such as Dry Manchurian, Gravy Manchurian, half dry Manchurian, Paneer Manchurian, Gobhi Manchurian, Mashrum Manchurian, Cabbage Manchurian....
Dry Manchurian is served with a thick sauce whilehalf Dry Manchurian is served with more Manchurian sauce. But if you like more Gravy, then it will be served you with a lot of Gravy and sauce
which will contains more calories, sodium and refined flour, which may not be very beneficial for health Dry Manchurian and Half dry Manchurian are more healthy then Gravy Manchuriyan .

Ingredients for Manchuriyan balls
- 2 fine chopped Carrots
- 1 fine chopped Cauliflower
- 1 fine chopped Cabbage
- 1 fine chopped Capcicum
- Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
- 10 to 12 fine chopped Garlic Cloves
- 2 Table spoon fine chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 Big fine chopped Onion
- 3 fine chopped Green Chilli
- 1Tea spoon Soya sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Chili Sauce
- 5 Table spoon Corn flour
- 7 Table spoon all purpose flour
- Refined oil for frying
- 1 Tea spoon Black Pepper
- Salt according to taste
- 1 Tea spoon Red Chilli powder
- 1Cup Water
Ingredients for Gravy
1. fine chopped Big Onion
2. 8 fine chopped Garlic Cloves
3. 1 Tea Spoon Ginger paste
4. 1/2 Tea Spoon Black Pepper power
5. 1Tea Spoon Red Chilli powder
6. 1 Table Spoon Sugar
7. 1 Tea Spoon Soya Sauce
8. 2 Table Spoon Viniger
9. 1 Table Spoon oil
10. 3 fine chopped Green Chilli
11. Water as needed
1. First of all wash all of the vegetables in clean water and dry them.
2. Now chope finely all the vegetables in a large bowl add 1/2 Tea spoon salt. Keep aside for 10 minutes, after it drain some water from vegetables. Don't throw this water it will be used for gravy.
3. Now add 5 table spoon corn flour and 7 table spoon all purpose flour, fine chopped green chilli, garlic, coriander leaves ginger, black pepper powder, red chili powder 1 tea spoon soya sauce, 1 tea spoon chili sauce, add salt according to taster, water and mix it well.
4. Now make a little balls with this better.
5. Take big fry pan put refined oil and heat it on the gass.
6. Now put a manchuriyan ball and fry it in the oil and check it, if it is cracked it means it need to add some corn flour.
7. Now put all the manchuriyan balls one by one and fry till crispy and golden brown. Keep it in mind that oil should not be too hot and fry the manchuriyan balls on median flame otherwise they will be cooked from outside but will remain raw inside.
Now keep aside all the fried manchuriyan balls and prepare the gravy.
Preparation of Gravy
1. To make the gravy for manchuriyan
heat oil in the pan.
2. Now put the fine chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and little fry in oil.
3. When it becomes light golden brown then add 1/2tea spoon black pepper powder, 1tea spoon Red chili powder 1 tea spoon soya sauce, 2 table spoon viniger, chilli sauce. And cook for a little.
4. Then put fine chopped vegetables, add the the water we had reserved from the vegetables add salt according to your taste and cook it for 1/2 a minute.
5. Now desolve 2 tea spoon corn flour and mix it into the gravy, cook it, when the gravy because thik then add all the manchuriyan balls in the gravy and cook for some time.
6. To mentain it's taste add 1 table spoon sugar in the gravy.
7. Now your veg manchurian dish is ready to eat, garnish it with chopped green onions and enjoy it proudly with your family and friends. And collect a lot of compliments and love for you .
