Hello friends welcome to My Healthy vegetarian recipes blog and this article today I am going to talk about *Kadhai Paneer recipe* it is a North Indian Punjabi vegetarian cuisine. Which is the full tast and rich nutritions of Paneer. This recipe made with paneer, onions, Ginger, and masala's thik gravy. It is one of the most popular everyone's favourite, healthy and delicious mouth melting recipe, it's taste is superb. Generally vegetarian people give more importance to paneer recipes.This vegetable is mainly eaten in lunch, or dinner. Vegetable is eaten with tanduri roti, naan and paratha. Some people also like to eat it with puri. Butter Paneer Masala Recipe, Kadai Paneer Recipe and Shahi Paneer Recipies Mainly are similar but the method of preparation is completely different. Shahi dishes are usually made with cashew and almond paste gravy without tomatoes. Shahi Paneer Sabzi tastes very rich and creamy buttery tastep due to the high use of cream in Shahi Paneer. The same curry paneer is more spicy. This vegetable is prepared by a special type of masala, gravy of onions, tomatoes and paneer cubes due to which this recipe becomes a wonderful vegetable full of taste. Kadhai is a kind of Indian cook ware and Kadhai Paneer is completely made in Kadhai hence it is named as Kadhai Paneer.


Ingredients For kadhai masala

1.    1_1/2  tsp Coriander seeds

2.    2 tsp Cumin seeds

3.   1_1/2 tbsp Peppercorns

4.   4-5 Kashmiri Red Chilli

Ingredients For Kadhai Paneer

1.    1 tbsp Oil

2.    1 tsp Cumin seeds

3.    1 inch Ginger, chopped

4.    2 large Tomatoes, puree         

5.    1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

6.     ½ tsp Turmeric Powder

7.     1 tsp Kashmiri mirch powder

8.     1 tsp Coriander powder

9.     2 large Onion, chopped     

10.   Salt according to taste

11.   1 tsp Ghee or butter 

12.    1 large onion pattel's 

13.    1 tbsp kadai masala

14.    1 Capsicum, sliced 

15.    1 Tomato, sliced 

16.    1 tbsp Cream/ optional

17.    250 Gram paneer, cubes 

18.    1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder

19.     2 table spoon Coriander leaves and 3 bey leafs 

20.     6_ 8 cashew nuts 


How to make Kadhai Paneer?

  • Take a pan and heat it on the gass add  1_1/2tea spoon cumin seeds, peppercorns, 2 tea spoon Coriander seeds and 3_4 Kashmiri red chillies. Roast till fragrant and grind coarsely

How to make (Kadhai Paneer) gravy ?

  • Put 2 spoons of oil in the pan and fry ginger, garlic and cloves together for a minute.
  • Now put a chopped onion in it and fry till it becomes golden 
  • Then add 6 to 7 cashews and two chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes become soft. 
  • Now cool it completely and make a smooth paste with the help of a blender.

How to make Kadhai paneer

  • Now heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan, now add green chilies, bay leaves and one teaspoon of fenugreek leaves and fry until it leaves the fragrance.

  • Now add capsicum cut into paneer size and add onion petals and fry till it shrinks a bit.


  • Now add half a teaspoon of red chili powder and quickly, onion and capsicum should remain separate and cook till the aroma of spices comes.
  • Now add salt as per your taste and add pre-prepared kadai masala, mix well and cook for 5 to 7 minutes (the masala starts leaving oil)
  • Now add tomato paste and mix well 
  • Now add water as required to make the gravy thin or thick according to your taste and mix well and let it cook for some time.
  • Then put paneer cubes in it and cook till the paneer gets the taste of spices.


  • Add finely chopped coriander and garam masala and mix,
